Okay so graduation came and went in a flurry of excitement, some moments I wish I could pause in time so that I could enjoy them for just a little bit longer... I miss all my school friends so much! :( Its hard going from seeing people pretty much every day anytime you want to probably not seeing many of them ever again. Times like these I really realize the importance of enjoying every experience to the fullest and really appreciating your life at every stage! :) :(!
2 days after grad I made a trip to NB, on the way to Sussex Mom and I had lunch with Corey's Dad Dean (or Deaner or Dean Dean the Love Machine... you know... whatever you prefer... but for now I think he prefers Grampy <3 <3). I was really thankful that Mom and Dean were able to meet and before I left and so that our parents would know each other before baby is born. We had great chats and it was really great, I am so lucky to inherit such an amazing family from Corey!! :) Then off to Sussex area to visit with cousins and family at my Aunt Bertha's house. She also altered some of my pants to make them fit in length and also others into maternity pants. She is such a great women, I can't wait to wear them when I get a big baby belly... pictures will follow! :) While there I got to visit with my cousin David his wife Martha and their kids Kristen, Courtney and one of the twin boys, I think it was Colby, please correct me if I'm wrong... Then I went to my Gram's house for the night, where we played card games, its kind of our thing. We have had many great life chats and bonding moments over the past few years over some great games. I think that all the game playing helps her to stay so sharp!! :) I also got to visit with my cousin Cathy and her 2 girls Heather and Christie, 3 people who I really do not see enough of.. sadly :(. The next day mom and I were off to visit more family at my <3 Uncle Leigh and cousin Ally's place <3 and then Aunt Hazel's house where we had supper with her Uncle Randy, daughter Kelly and her boyfriend Mike and beautiful and adorable little angel Hannah. It was really nice to spend time with special people who I do not get to see enough!! :( After supper my cousin Lisa came home, she had to work late, and her cutie little son Carson, he is afraid of me... I just think he has a crush, hehe! :) It was really good to see them too! I hope that when I move back to the mainland that I will be able to spend more time with family because I just love them so much and would love to spend more time with them!! I didn't get a chance to see my other cousin Colin and his beautiful wife Michelle. The trip was so quick, but over Christmas I will make sure I get to see everyone!! :)
After supper mom and I went to Riverview to visit with Corey's mommy. Mom and her had never met so I was soooo excited for them to meet! Kim is so great, her and I became so close when I lived there this past summer, I really feel very loved and part of the family. Also to my delight Corey's Nan was there too, and she just so happens to be one of my favorite people. She seriously kills me she's so funny and entertaining! :). Corey's mom also had the best gift ever for me, which is Corey's cradle from when he was a baby, along with baby pics and his baby book. Turns out the first time she felt him kick was the day I was born!! :) I like to think that it was because he got so excited and was like "KICK, thats my girlll!!" She also got me a pregnancy diary and baby book and stuff so that I can also keep track of all that important stuff! :) Very excited for all of that!! I just really hope that T-Rex doesn't get obese like cutie little Corey was... 10 lbs 5 oz.... GET REAL!!! Pretty sure ol' Kimberley Betts had a couple too many sundays from MacDonalds! haha Uncle Ian and Uncle Shea (pseudo uncles) also came over for some visits, it was great to see them, sucks its the last time till around Christmas time!! :( T-Rex is going to be obsessed with his Pseudo Uncles... they are cool haha. The next day Mom Kim and I went on pretty much a shopping spree!! I needed to get clothes and scrubs that will fit me when I eventually start getting a belly.... and grow in other areas I'm sure. It was really fun to shop and spend some quality time with my 2 Mommas! Love them! :) I also bought my first clothing for T-Rex, its for when he/she comes out of the bath, it has a hood with ears.. :) SO CUTE! :) Shortly after our day-long shopping excursion we had to hit the road and get back home :(. But not before we were graced by the presence of Uncle Jordan (well one of them, both of our brother's names are Jordan! haha). Really happy I got to see him before headin off into the unknown. No Rouger tho, sad face!!
So, needless to say it was a very quick but really great trip! Very thankful for getting to see everyone that I did, and those that I missed I'm sure I will see at Christmas... when T-Rex has entered the world! :)
