So I will give a little blurb about my trip to St. John's, It was amazing, I really did not want to leave!! :( It was awesome. I shopped and saw friends and oh yea, wrote that exam. It felt really good to be done the exam!! It is really hard to tell how it went, I guess I will just have to wait and see... I should hear back within the next 4-6 weeks, so I will keep you all posted!! Fingers crossed I will pass and never have to think about that scary thing ever againnn!!! ugh!
When we first got to the city we headed straight for the mall!! I got a new phone!!! Which I needed really badly, my other one was garbage and it really didn't work! haha!! So thanks Dad for chipping in and allowing me to be able to afford to get a new phone! love you!!!
The next day we went shopping again, then afterwards I went out for dinner with my friend Dave Sampson. He is a really good friend of mine, we met in first year at X when he and his roommate moved across the hall from me in residence. After dinner he was oh-so-kind as to drive me to Toys-R-Us to get a diaper bag which is something that I really wanted to get, we found a really sweet one, I am in love with it! :) I definitely never thought that Dave would be helping me pick out a diaper bag, haha life is funny sometimes! It was really nice to see him tho, hopefully it will happen again sooner than later! :)
The next morning was the exammm! :( I was really nervous!! We wrote in a really small room, with only like maybe 20 people. I liked that because it made me feel like it was less intense! It took me almost the whole 4 hours to write it. Following we went to the mall... again haha. Us four girls went to a restaurant at the mall for lunch and kinda celebrated being done, we all got drinks... mine was sans vodka, but it was still good :) Later on my good friend and buddy Pipes (Ryan Sheaves) picked us up from the mall and took us on a tour of the city. He showed us Signal Hill, which was pretty sweet!
For supper I met up with another friend of mine from school, Sarah Murphy, we went out for supper and met up with some people from her work. Turns out muscles were on special, lucky me!!! They were so good, and her friends were really nice and interesting. I love meeting new people, a lot!! :) It was really nice catching up with Sarah, she is such a sweetheart, I miss her already! :(
Later on, me and two of my nursing girls went out with Pipes and some of his buddies. The girls wanted to check out the infamous George St. and really celebrate being done the RN Exam! yay!! We had a really good time!! All the guys were super funny and entertaining, and there was a band playing at the place that we went. Good times had by all :) We made our way back to the Hotel at like 2:30 am... I was sooo tiredd!!
We had to catch the plane really early the next morning, at what we thought was 11:00am, so I woke up late at like 9:30am and rushed to get packed to leave for 10:00am.. At about 9:50am I had a feeling that I should check the flight info just to make sure.... turns out the flight is scheduled to leave at 10:15am!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!! We didn't get to the airport until like 10:10am and rushed up to the counter, they actually were holding the flight for us!! and we actually made it in time!! yay!! Against all odds!! I was never so glad to be sitting on an airplane!!! Back to St. Anthony we goooo!!
