I had to go to work, so that was whatever but it turned out to be a really good day! I got tons of happy birthday wishes from friends and family. A few days before Gram sent me a really nice card, I loved it!! :) On my lunch break I went to the post office to see if I got any mail... and ta-da!! I got a huge package from Corey!! :) yay!! It was so great! He got me a sweet watch, which is purple, aka my fave color! and some tea and a tea strainer thing (I don't know what they are called) and then a little package of body wash, bubble bath and body lotion. I loved everything!! :)
Then when I went back to work the girls got me a birthday cake!! I was so excited! :) It made my day! :) And then after work, a group of girls from work went out to eat at Jungle Jims, it was really fun! :)
After that I was really tired and pretty much crashed! Work in the am!! Aunt Bertha, sorry I missed your call, I was asleep, but I loved your msg! Love you!!
Thanks everyone for making my bday so great!!! Sad that I was away from so many people tho! :(
Also.... Completely unrelated to my birthday...
Last weekend I went hiking with some girls that work at the hospital, one of them is Allison, the Human Resources person who helped me get everything organized for coming out here to St. Anthony, 2 were physio students from Dal, Melissa, a friend of mine from school and Chrisoula, a Nurse from my unit! :)
It was great to get outside and exercise a little and the views were pretty amazing!! :)
